ANY MAJOR WELLNESS MOMENTS IN YOUR LIFE?
When I had been vegetarian for 4 years, and at the same time had been suffering from debilitating migraines that had me in and out of the emergency room, a dear friend of mine who also happened to be a food scientist and naturopathic doctor gently suggested to me that I might be ignoring signs from my own body. That I might need animal protein, and that I shouldn't disregard my own body’s signals for an external agenda. That my body knows better than I do. This was a massive turning point for me, as it taught me to pay attention to my body, above anything else. From there my entire career in health & wellness has blossomed, and I still teach that core principle today.

WHAT'S YOUR CURRENT SELF-CARE ROUTINE?
Every morning I wake up and connect to my higher power, I pray or meditate or walk in nature alone. I then go straight into journaling, outlining everything I want for myself as if it’s already happened. I try to move my body daily, and ensure I eat only whole foods. I always get enough sleep and enough water, and I make sure every self-care practice always feels easy and effortless. I also try to take massive action daily, and do at least one thing that makes me nervous, but that I know will move the needle in my life.

WHERE DO YOU GET OR DRAW INSPIRATION FROM?
Other women who run successful online businesses which are built around who they really are; their truest self, operating as their fullest most honest expression, and from that place, delivering a powerful impact on other’s lives, & making their work an extension of their life, not an inconvenience, and on top of all of that… being paid well for it.

WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOUR 18-YEAR OLD SELF?
To refuse to worry.

HOW HAVE YOU KEPT UP YOUR CREATIVITY DURING THIS TIME?
Miraculously, my business is my source of creativity. The way I must creatively & concisely communicate important concepts & ideas, lessons & information, the composition of my coaching programs and discovering their best mode of delivery, the marketing, the design, even the time management and the business development… all of it is incredibly creatively satisfying to me because my business is me. For me to move it forward, I have to be creative, I have to be aligned, I have to be visible, and I have to operate 100% outside of my comfort zone.

HAVE YOU FOUND CREATING ART TO BE HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON? IF SO, HOW?
I have always considered myself artistic. it was hands down what I was most passionate about as a child, and what I spent the most time doing. I took countless art classes in high school and in college and have always turned to sketching as a form of meditation. I even have a degree in Interior Architecture, which was composed of hundreds of hours of drawing and sketching and drafting, architecturally and creatively. Sketching brings me fully into the moment, immediately. It is a favorite practice of mine!

WHAT ARE IS ONE SELF-CARE RITUAL YOU'RE LEANING INTO FOR COMFORT?
Meditation, the stillness grounds me and gives me SUPER-peace.
