She believes that words and content that settle within an audience's soul blooms an awareness of one's identity and worthiness. She is not afraid to use her voice, especially when it comes to creating music. Get to know Arielle...

I AM Arielle Estoria AND I DEFINE CONFIDENCE AS being unapologetic in your skin and walking aware of your worthy.

WHERE DID YOU GROW UP AND WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?

I grew up in the Bay area of Northern California but I moved to Southern California for college and I’ve been here ever since. Currently residing in dreamy little Pasadena, CA!

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE WHAT YOU DO?

It depends on the day! But truly, I have narrowed it down to: Poet, Speaker, Author and Creative but overall my motto is, “words not for the ears but for the soul” I spill words, I feel things and hopefully encourage others to feel all the feels too.

WHY IS HAVING A HEALTHY GUT IMPORTANT TO YOU?

For me, my body is part of my work, It’s part of my profession. So if my body doesn’t feel her best self, then I can’t show up well personally or professionally. When exploring the concept of intuitive eating and mindfulness when it comes to my body, the first thing I noticed was how my stomach responded to certain things. I have a very sensitive stomach and even more sensitive gut, ultimately every aspect of discomfort came back to that. Paying attention to that part of my body transformed how I take care of myself.

NAME YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT.

Oh goodness, that’s a hard one! I love so many Lemonade, Lincoln (Pasadena), Bodega Wine Bar (Pasadena) and anything with breakfast foods!

NAME THREE OF YOUR FAVORITE FOODS.

- Breakfast!!! Like all of it, french toast, pancakes, breakfast burritos, eggs, toast, jam YUM!

- Tacos

- Snacks! Charcuterie, chips and salsa, apples and peanut butter, smoothies, acai bowls

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE?

Don’t know if I have one, but I make some really bomb breakfast potatoes!

ANY MAJOR WELLNESS MOMENTS IN YOUR LIFE?

Working with a nutrition coach Drew Martino, she checks in with me weekly and we have calls where we talk about my personal wellness and nutrition goals and she gives me tools and resources to do so! I highly recommend a coach or guide of some sort!

WHAT'S YOUR CURRENT SELF-CARE ROUTINE?

Sleep! Good, long walks with my husband, at home dance workouts, face masks, painting my nails and making sure I have time to sit and read outside!

WHERE DO YOU GET OR DRAW INSPIRATION FROM?

Everywhere! I believe anything can speak to you if you let it. Music is a really big part of inspiration for me but so are people, conversations, etc.

WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOUR 18-YEAR OLD SELF?

Oh wow, I would tell her “It’s okay! Breathe. It’s okay. You definitely don't have to have it all figured out right now, perfection is not the goal, excellence is and once you learn how to own, accept, embrace and walk fully in your calling and identity, others will use you as an example to do the same.” I would lastly tell her, “You have no idea what magic is waiting for you on the other side of loneliness and pain. Hold tight."

HOW HAVE YOU KEPT UP YOUR CREATIVITY DURING THIS TIME?

Reading has helped a ton, exploring other peoples stories and life experiences encourage me to explore my own. Music (always) and being in nature! I have to write, I have to create, and I am realizing even more so. How much that’s part of who I am and less about what I do in spaces like these.

HAVE YOU FOUND CREATING ART TO BE HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON? IF SO, HOW?

Yes, it’s very healing and necessary. Like I said before, If I don’t create then I am not fully existing as myself and I notice when that is the case.

WHAT ARE IS ONE SELF-CARE RITUAL YOU'RE LEANING INTO FOR COMFORT?

Affirmations and setting intentions. I believe that affirmations are things you speak over yourself and intention setting is what you’re setting up for yourself. SoI am learning to speak grace over myself and set myself up for whatever “success” looks like right here and now.

DO YOU HAVE A QUOTE, POEM OR SONG THAT YOU WOULD DEFINE AS YOUR ANTHEM?

Grace upon grace, one day at a time.
